Order Import Is Failing: Validation Failed for the Field - Order Type (Doc ID 2062178.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run Order Import, the following error occurs.

ERROR
Source/Order/Seq/ Validation failed for the field - Order Type

STEPS

  1.  Populate the data in Order Import Interface tables
  2.  Go to Order Management responsibility and Run Order Import
  3.  Notice Order Import completed in Error
  4.  Go to Orders, Returns> Import Orders>Corrections
  5.  Query the Record by Order Source and Order Reference as appropriate
  6.  Select the Record and click on Errors and notice the error message as above
