Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Org level reservation stops or prevents  Subinventory transfer

ERROR
-----------------------
Quantity will drive inventory Negative - Negative Balances Not allowed

Now when attempting to perform a subinventory transfer
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Total Organization Quantity cannot become negative when there are
reservations present.

The standard subinventory transfer was tested for both telnet and form but
may have been done with positive beginning on-hand qty at the source
subinventory.

If the beginning on-hand of the source is positive, the transaction goes
through even if it would result to negative inventory if the available qty is
lesser than what is being transferred.

If the beginning on-hand of the source is negative, the transaction fails
both using telnet and the form.

The issue is happening for LPN Sub to LPN Sub, Non-LPN to Non-LPN, Non-LPN to
LPN, LPN to Non-LPN (all combinations)

The standard Subinventory Transfer telnet screen and Oracle form is used
where the issue is happening.
