DEA Not Calculating Correctly For Multiple Periods when NI set to Single Period on the element

(Doc ID 2065177.1)

Last updated on JULY 11, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Applications
Find that an employee has a Direct Earnings Attachment and is processed in the first run of a weekly pay period with NI set to Single Period. This calculates correctly.
The employee is then processed in a supplementary run with NI set Multiple Periods of 2.

The DEA calculation divides the Attachable PTD by 2, but does not then multiply the result by 2 to determine the run value.
This results in the employee having a negative DEA run value in the supplementary run

-- Expected Behaviour
Expect it to multiply the result by 2

 -- Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. Add DEA element to an employee on a weekly payroll
2. Run the first run > Calculates correctly
3. Set NI to Multiple Periods of 2 on the element input values
4. The employee is then processed in a supplementary run
5. View results
