Customer executed the following supported documentation:
A. 1188535.1 Migrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2
Refer to Section 2: Clone Oracle Applications Release 12 of Cloning Oracle Applications Release 12 with Rapid Clone and perform the following steps.
•Configure the target system ◦Configure the target system application tier server nodes
•Deactivate unsupported products (conditional) ◦If you are using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 or Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop, download patch 20252774 and follow the patch README to run the script to deactivate products which are not supported with these versions of Microsoft Visual Studio.
Refer to Oracle Applications Maintenance Procedures and perform the following steps using AD Administration.
1.Relink AD executables (Use AD Relink for this step)
2.Relink Applications programs
3.Maintain Snapshot Information
4.Generate message files
5.Generate form files
6.Generate report files
7.Generate product JAR files
Refer to Section 3: Finishing Tasks of Cloning Oracle Applications Release 12 with Rapid Clone and perform the following steps.
1.Update profile options
2.Update printer settings
3.Update Workflow configuration settings
4.Verify APPLCSF variable setting
5.Update the SESSION_COOKIE_DOMAIN value in ICX_PARAMETERS
6.Re-Implement SSL and SSO configuration
B. Microsoft Visual C++, MKS toolkit and GNUMAKE all have been verified per the requirements in note: 1188535.1
