Debrief Return And Replacement Contract Dates Are Not Updating Correctly

Goal

On : 12.1.3 version, Warr./Ext.Warranty Integration
Debrief return and replacement Contract dates are not updating correctly
The contract termination date of the returned instance should be the return date not the contract start date.
The contract star date of the newly installed instance should be the replacement date not the contract start date.
 

The Business needs is that, after closing the debrief the contract is updated incorrectly according to  business practice.  That is:

-The contract termination date of the returned instance is the contract start date.   

-The contract start date of the newly installed instance is the contract start date.

 

The enhancement  requested  is:

- The contracts need to reflect the actual date when the particular equipment (serialized) is at the customer site.

-The contract subline termination date of the returned instance should be the return date

-The contract subline star date of the newly installed instance should be the replacement date not the contract start date.

 

Business Impact:

With Service Organization is growing rapidly on contracts for On-Site Support with replacement of the equipment if necessary. 

The Financial/banking industry downtime is very limited therefore equipment will require the replacement often in case of true failure. 

This enhancement is very important as Contracts are being updated manually by the contracts organization which is a major productivity issue.
