Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Customers Module

You are attempting to create a Customer Account and cannot find an option to search for a salesperson, using salesperson number.
You can only search by a salesperson name

Steps to Reproduce:
Responsibility:  Receivables
Navigation: Customers > Customers
Go To:  Account > Site > Business Purpose> Details> Salesperson field
