Symptoms
Using Oracle General Ledger (GL), posting has performance issues.
Postings which completed in a reasonable time are taking much longer to complete after the database upgrade.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade database to 12.1.0.N release.
2. Run GL Posting Process.
Changes
Database upgraded from earlier version to 12.1.0.1 or 12.1.0.2
