An element's input value was created incorrectly. The intention was to have a lookup table be used to restrict the values that could be put into this input value. When the setup was done, the lookup table name was incorrectly placed in 'Default' field instead of the 'Lookup' field. This change made it to production and element entries were created for people.
To correct this issue, the user updated the setup of the input value, removing the name of the lookup table from the Default field and populating it in the Lookup field. This setup saved with no issue.
After the change, when attempting to update existing element entries' input value by choosing one of the values from the lookup table, an error message is displayed.
