Unable To Associate Serial Number On Prior Job To New Job (Doc ID 2069619.1)

Symptoms


Encounter following error when trying to associate prior serial number that was associated with another job on new job .

ERROR


The serial number provided cannot be associated to the job because it is currently in use.
The serial number is either already associated to a job or is in a status other than "Defined but not used".

STEPS


1. PIM Super User -> Transactions -> Discrete Jobs ->
2. Query job.
3. Click on serial numbers button.
4. Try to enter/use serial number. Encounter error.

The serial number provided cannot be associated to the job because it is currently in use.
The serial number is either already associated to a job or is in a status other than "Defined but not used".
