Self Service Human Resources (SSHR) Transactions are Defaulting Working Hours to Full-time Instead of Part Time Hours (Doc ID 2070807.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 08, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Self-Service Human Resources - Version 12.1 HRMS RUP8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying 12.1 HRMS RUP8:

SSHR transactions are defaulting working hours to full-time instead of Part time hours.

Personnel Action Request (PAR) forms in Manager Self-Service applications are defaulting working hours to full-time (35.7 or 40) even though the employee's assignment has part-time hours. Previously, the working hours would display in the form as they were entered on the employee's assignment. Due to this change, managers are unintentionally changing hours to full-time when they complete PAR forms.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using Responsibility Manager Self-Service

2. N: Worker Status Change

3. Working Hours are defaulted to 37.5/Week instead of 19.5 as seen in core HR

Changes
