Item Lead Time Is Not Considered When A PR Is Created Via Manual Requisition (Doc ID 2073090.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 On : 12.2.3 version, Requisitions

For IProcurement Requisitions, Item lead time is not considered.

Currently, item lead time setup in the Item Master only works for items that are min-max planned. When a PR is created using min-max planning, the Need-By date of the requisition is calculated based on the lead time setup for the item (Need-By Date = Run Date + Pre-processing Lead time + Processing Lead time). For items created using manual requisition, lead time setup is not being considered.

Example:
A part is setup with 7 days pre-processing lead time in the Item Master. When a requisition is raised using core requisition or manual requisition, the Need-By date defaults to null/blank and does not considers the lead time setup for the part in the Item Master.
