How To Suppress Vertex Call From Order Management? (Doc ID 2074171.1)

Goal

For some imported sales orders which already have tax amount populated. In this case, customer do not want OM triggering Vertex to calculate tax, this will cause double tax issue.
However, for some other imported orders, when they do not have tax amount, then need OM to call Vertex to calculate tax.

Is this possible?
