Receive Error 'Username or Password Is Invalid' When Syncing MFS Multi Platform App

On : 12.1.3 Multi Platform Mobile Field Service

When manually syncing the Multi platform app if the user double clicks the sync button,  the sync gets stuck at 'Connecting' .    All auto syncs after that receive en error.

Username or Password Is Invalid

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Double click on sync button
2. Sync gets stuck and all auto syncs receive an error

Due to this issue, users cannot sync.   They have to restart the MFS app in order to 'fix' the sync process.
