Symptoms

On Oracle Applications 12.2.4,
when attempting to start the application tier service with adstrtal.sh, the script admanagedsrvctl.sh returned the following warning message:

WARNING - Unable to create log file </oracle/TEST/fs1/FMW_Home/modules/../logs/wlst_20151105094153.log>.

Even though this warning is reported in the log file, the managed server starts successfully.
