When Refreshing A Model, PIM UDAs Are Not Imported (Doc ID 2079053.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Configurator - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version, User Defined Attributes

After going through the setup in Product Information Management (PIM) to add new items into an Item Catalog Category (ICC) and then assigning the attribute values against the item, it is found that PIM does not import the User Defined Attributes (UDA) to the Configurator when running the Refresh a Configuration Model concurrent program. Also, an error is found in the log file. In the PIM screen, users are able to view the attributes and values assigned to the item. The same process successfully imports catalog elements as properties.

(CZ.CZ_ITEM_TYPES_U1) violated

inserts: 0

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Oracle Configurator Developer Responsibility.
2. Configurator Developer.
3. Run the Refresh A Single Configuration Model Concurrent Process.
4. Find that the UDAs are not imported into Configurator.
5. An error message is found in the log file.
