SLM Advanced Search - Is It Possible To Index A Standard (Seeded) Field? (Doc ID 2079094.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Supplier Lifecycle Management - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The requirement is to send messages across supply base based on criteria. SLM allows you to send messages to all suppliers, or specific set based on search criteria.

The advanced search option, when creating a criteria, requires the user to include a indexed attribute.  When searching all suppliers who have a UDA value of "Yes", users cannot add an indexed attribute because they are too specific (such as supplier # and Supplier Site Address Name).   Users are able to make UDA (custom attributes) indexed; however, the standard (seeded) fields (such as Operating Unit) cannot be indexed.

Is it possible to make a attribute indexed so a search can be performed using just that attribute?
