Symptoms

On : 12.2.2 version, Price List

Unable to import product attribute values greater than 30 char for Pricing

Have an requirement to import price list lines with product attribute values having length > 30 chars. But the Oracle Standard Program errors out with below message

In the Pricing attr value to id loop
product_attr_code: AL_ITEM_CATEGORY
product_attribute: AL Item Category
Product_attribute_context/product attributeITEM
Product context/attribute is not Item nor category
UNEXCPECTED ERROR IN QP_BULK_VALUE_TO_ID.LINE:ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Oracle Pricing Manager
2. Run sql to put data in the interface tables.
3. Reports
4. Run Bulk Import
5. Import price list lines with product attribute values having length > 30 chars. But the Oracle Standard Program errors out with below message
