Error "Reserved quantity cannot be more than total order quantity" Shows When Attempting to Transfer Reservation From Inventory Source to a User Defined Source Type

Problem Statement
When attempting to transfer the reservation from Inventory Source to a User defined Source Type,
the following error occurs.

Reserved quantity cannot be more than total order quantity

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Inventory : Setup > Transactions > Source Types
    Transaction Source Types form is opened.
    Click "User" tab.
    Create a new User defined Source Type(for example: User_Source_Type) and save.

  2. Navigate to Inventory : On-hand, Availability > Reservations
    Item Reservation window is opened.
    Create a item reservation:
    Quantity : 100
    Type: Inventory

  3. Click Tools > Transfer Demand
    Transfer Demand form is opened.
    Demand Type : User_Source_Type(created in Step.1)
    Quantity : 50
    Click Transfer

  4. The below Error shows:
    Reserved quantity cannot be more than total order quantity

  5. Save button is not able to click. But the below Error shows if "Ctrl + S" is pressed.
    ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("INV"."MTL_TRANSFER_TEMP"."TO_RESERVATION_ID")
