MES Screen is not accepting the values outside the defined range
Using the MES touch screen for the batch execution, Applied the patch #21168607:R12.GMO.C. After the patch application, the MES screen is enforcing the operator to enter the process parameter value with in the range and now allowing to proceed further. The value being entered is outside the resource range setup for the process parameter but not outside the min/max range setup on the process parameter.
Per the fix expecting warning message not error if the value is within the process parameter range but outside the resource parameter min/max range.
From the bug, here is an example of how the code should be working:
Parameter Range defined at parameter : 1 -- 100
Parameter Range Defined at Resource: 30 -- 60
When User entered value >=1 and 60 and <= 100 it is warning message.
If it is 100 then it is Error. User cannot go forward when there is error.
In summary, if the value is entered withing the parameter range setup on the parameter but outside range on the resource, it will be a warning.
If the value entered is outside the parameter range setup, it will be an error.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. MES touch screen
Enter in value for process parameter that is outside resource range but within min/max range of process parameter.
