R12/CE: Unable to Distinguish the Legal Entity at Bank Account Security Management Page, When there are Multiple Legal Entities with Same Name but Different Identifier (Doc ID 2081612.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, USER MANAGEMENT > UMX Security:
When attempting to add a legal entity in UMX security wizard, the following error occurs.
Error Page > Exception Details.
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException

  

Legal Entity LOV shows only legal entity name while running security wizard. It creates issue when users have multiple legal entities with same name and different identifiers.

 

When there are multiple legal entities with same name and different legal entity identifier and a user attempts to add legal entity at Bank Account Security Management Page,  List of Value(LOV) has no field except legal entity name. Hence, user is unable to distinguish the legal entity to be selected.
