Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Spares Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Spares Logistics

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In Field Service Parts Requirement screen it is showing that multiple parts requirement orders have a “Closed” status, but only 1 order created for the Service Request is Closed.
The other 2 orders are still Open.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the other orders to remain open.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create a Service Request and Task
2) Create a Parts requirement order/line/detail that results in an internal sales order created in the source org.
3) In the Source Org, pick release the order line leaving it in a "Staged/Pick Confirmed" status.
4) View the status of the parts requirement line detail. Will say "Staged/Pick Confirmed".
5) Update Task assignment status from "Accepted" to "Completed" (e.g. from the Dashboard or Debrief screen).
6) Open the Parts requirement screen again.
7) View the status of the pars requirement line detail. The status now shows incorrectly as "Closed". The order is actually in a "Staged/Pick Confirmed" status.
8) Update Task assignment status back from "Completed" to "Accepted".
9) Open the Parts requirement screen again.
10) View the status of the pars requirement line detail. The status still shows incorrectly as "Closed". The order is actually in a "Staged/Pick Confirmed" status.
11) Add a new line/detail to the Parts requirement order that results in an internal sales order created in the source org.
12) View the status of this newly created parts requirement line/detail. It also immediately shows "Closed" which is incorrect.
