12.2 After Cloning An Instance On A Solaris OS, Sourcing The Environment File Fails Due To Captial Letters In The Hostname

Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2.4, Rapidclone issues

After cloning an existing instance, the following error is received when sourcing the environment:

$ . ./EBSapps.env run
Sourcing the RUN File System ...
ERROR: This env should be sourced from dapdev01 !

$ hostname
DAPDEV01


ERROR
-----------------------
$ . ./EBSapps.env run
Sourcing the RUN File System ...
ERROR: This env should be sourced from dapdev01 !


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Clone an existing instance.

2. Source the cloned instance using the environment file EBSapps.env.

3. Receive the above error regarding the hostname.

Changes

 Created a new clone from an existing instance.
