Depot Repair: Trying to Close Operation for WIP job in Technician Portal Hangs - Eventually Throwing 500 Internal Server Error

On : 12.1.3 version, Repair Execution
When trying to close an operation in the Depot Repair technician portal (which processes a move order in the routing) through Repair Order-->Execute job, the screen freezes. Eventually it throws timeout error:
500 Internal Server Error
or the following error:
Failure of server APACHE bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create SR and RO
2. Create Repair Job
3. Press "Execute Job" button
4. HTML page opens and freezes
