Clause Text Does Not Maintain Spaces Between Some Words

(Doc ID 2085199.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Procurement Contracts - Version 12.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After typing a Clause into the Clause text editor and clicking Apply and Add Details, the Clause text changes and shows some words concatenated together. This seems to be one set of words get concatenated on each full line of text.

Removing the concatenation and then reapplying does not resolve the concatenation, it happens again.

The same thing happens if the customer copies and pastes the text from a text editor.

Expect the Clause text to remain as typed in the RTE.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Type a clause into the Clause Text Editor.
2. Click the "Apply and Add Details" button.
3. Review the Clause text and see some of the words have been concatenated together.

Due to this issue users cannot use the Clause Text Editor to type Clauses into the System.
