Create Wave Not Displaying The Complete Customer Name In Simple Criteria Screen (Doc ID 2085650.1)

Last updated on JULY 08, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Actual Behavior
We have Customer Names that are 32 characters in Length that are defined in the system.
The last 3 characters are the most important to us.
However when in the Create Wave form the maximum length that can be entered is 30. So the last 2 characters are being truncated.
Even though the queries are not affected by that, all of our internal customers are the same with only last 3 characters being different. It is very important that we see it all.

Expected Behavior
Though we do not expect the entire Customer Name to be visible in the form, we do expect to be able to edit or scroll within the field, to see the complete Customer Name.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Create Wave.
2. Enter the Customer Name or select from list of values (LOV).
3. Click in Customer Name field and arrow to the right.
4. See that the 32 character name has been truncated.
