Enhanced Retropay Does Not Calculate Correctly For FTE Factor Salary Change (Doc ID 2090343.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 17, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Enhanced Retropay process is not calculating correctly for a salary change and FTE change mid-period.

Example:
 - Employee was hired 8/11/15. His beginning monthly salary is $1,916.67 with FTE Factor = .2
 - Employee was paid correctly on 8/31/15 $1326.93. This is for FTE Equivalent of 22.5 hours X $58.97436
 - After the payroll run the employee is given a retroactive salary change effective 8/23/15. Change to 7666.66 monthly with FTE Factor = 1

Retropay is run and the retro element is paying as if the employee had FTE Factor = 1 for the whole period of 8/11 - 8/31. This is incorrect as the employee had FTE Factor .2 from 8/11 - 8/22/15.
