Purpose

Transactions error with "Negative balances not allowed".

You are NOT using Warehouse management (WMS) -- This is an important point. If using WMS, this note does NOT apply.

Note: This note was originally written for R11.5.5 bug and earlier of the Oracle Applications. The note was updated in November 2012 to reflect recent tables names for R11.5.7 and onward as mtl_onhand_quantities was changed to mtl_onhand_quantities_detail.
