Last updated on JULY 17, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
For lot controlled shelf life enabled Items, when performing a Miscellaneous receipt transaction ( in form INVTTMTX), notice the lot expiration date is always calculated as transaction date (receiving date) + shelf life days.
Expect the system tot re-calculate the expiration date again if the origination date is changed to some other date.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to: Inventory
2. Navigate to: Transactions > Miscellaneous Transactions
3. Choose Type: Miscellaneous receipt
4. Press Transaction Lines
5. Input item and Lot
6. Press the Lot / Serial button
7. See Expiration Date calculated based on transaction date.
