Implementing Change Order To Change Component Yield Does Not Update Yield Value For Some Organizations Of The Common Bill (Doc ID 2096322.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 12, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Bills of Material - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Actual Behavior

Find when implementing change order for a common (source) bill, to change the component Yield, the change did not update Yield value for some bills in the commoned organization bills.

Expected Behavior

ECO implemented on the source bill of material should change specified element(s) e.g. Yield on Bills that have been commoned to other organizations.

1. Create bill of material in the M1 (Seattle Manufacturing) organization, and common to V1 (Vision Operations - the Item Master) and several other organizations.

2. Create and implement a change order, in the M1 organization, to disable component 4656, and add component 70070 with Yield value = .909. This is done to the source bill of material.

3. Navigate to other organization to validate Yield value

Change Org to V1 (Vision Operations)
Query bill
Note component Item 70070
- Yield show is '1' instead of '.909' as in V1 (Vision Operations) organization.

4. Navigate to M2 organization and notice the Yield value is correct:

Query bill
Note Component Item 70070
- Yield show is '1' instead of '.909' as in V1 (Vision Operations) organization.

5. Find that the component Yield value was implemented in the source organization (M1), but the same value is not shown on commoned bills in V1 and M2 organizations.
