R12 Unable To Download The 'Approved Cost Budget' Document Using Webadi, User-defined type not defined Error (Doc ID 2096975.1)

Symptoms

WebAdi: it is not possible to download the Excel document that contains the 'Approved Cost Budget' or 'Approved Revenue Budget' in Oracle Projects, the spreadsheet shows error.

ERROR:

Compile error: User-defined type not defined.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Navigation: Projects: Delivery->Search Projects->Advance Search, enter 'Project Number' and click on 'Go' button.
  2. Click on 'Financial' tab. Select the 'Approved Cost Budget' and select Edit->'Cost in Excel' and click on 'Go' button.
  3. Select 'Viewer' (eg. 'Excel 2010'), click on 'Next' button -> click on 'Continue' button and click on 'Create Document'.
  4. The excel document does not get downloaded successfully, it raises an exception with the error message.


Note: the users do not have Microsoft Visual Studio or  'Load Test Report Addin' enabled in Excel.
