Copying Multiple SLINs Results In OACore And Apache Bridge Failure (Doc ID 2098263.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 19, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management for Public Sector - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We encountered an issue when copying subsequent SLIN lines on different Awards. One the first Award, you can select and copy a SLIN line with no issues. Once you save and navigate to another Award to perform the same transaction, the page will timeout with an Apache Bridge failure. As a result, one of the OACores will crash and the instance will eventually have to be bounced.

Here are the steps to recreate the issue:

1.) Navigate to first Award
2.) Complete required Header information and Save
3.) Select Lines tab
4.) Click the checkbox for a funded SLIN
5.) Select the Copy from the actions dropdown and click Go
6.) Select Apply
7.) Save Award
8.) Navigate to second Award
9.) Repeat steps 2 - 6

We believe that this error is happening for the SLIN lines that have had their CLM_INFO_FLAG updated to the 'N' value, which was the solution offered by Oracle for SR 3-10928634221. This error does not happen for Funded and Informational CLIN lines.
