WIP Assembly Completion Fails with Internal Error: ORA-20002 (Doc ID 2098429.1)

Symptoms

After applying patches for Financial Periodic Maintenance Plan (PMP), WIP assembly completion transaction fails with the following error.
The issue exists only on the instance where PMP was performed.


ERROR

Internal error: ORA-20002 : Message 2002 not found.
  Product=RDBMS facility=ORA
  ORA-01403 no data found

Message History shows:
  Invalid argument to FINAL_COMPLETION_FLAG.EVENT:P_EVENT='WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM'
  FRM-40735: WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-20002


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Work In Process.
2. Navigation: Transactions -> Completion Transactions.
3. Try to perform WIP Assy Completion.
4. Receive the aforementioned error.
