How to Correct an Invalid Country Code in the Regions and Zones Form? (Doc ID 2102278.1)

Goal

 An invalid country code was entered for new record in the Regions and Zones form,  Regions tab.  This cannot be corrected from the user interface.  How can you correct the region country code?
