Clarification of Codes in Line 14 of the 1095-C Form (Doc ID 2102767.1)

Goal

Customer expects all employees who are offered coverage for the employee, their spouse and eligible child(ren) to return code 1A (Qualifying Offer) in Line 14 and Line 15 and 16 should be blank.

Instead, single employees are returning code 1B (Minimum Essential Coverage providing Minimum Value offered to employee only) in Line 14, and married employees with NO eligible children are returning 1D (Minimum Essential Coverage providing Minimum Value offered to employee and at least minimum essential coverage offered to spouse (not dependent(s)).
