22478257 Getting Error When Adding Attachment Using Item Description With A Special Character

On : 12.2.4 version, Service Request

When attempting to add an attachment in iSupport using Item Description that has a special character, eg - , the following error is displayed.

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 33

This worked fine in Release 11i

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
(R) iSupport Primary User
(N) Home > Support > Service Requests
Create a SR
Enter SR information
In the Identify Product section, select Item with Description containing a special character eg -
Attempt to upload an attachment

The error above is displayed.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create SRs with attachments when the Description of the Item has a special character.
