What can be done about What-if Depreciation behaving differently for Unplanned Depreciation in an asset's final period under the two options of: 1- Draft Depreciation run and 2- Depreciation with Close period run?
The amount of the unplanned depreciation is included in depreciation on the last month of the life of asset if the draft depreciation is run but the period isn't closed.
Where as if the period is closed the Unplanned Depreciation is taken off as a adjustment in the current month that is being closed, and the depreciation is calculated evenly right to the last month of it's life on the 'What if' report.
On the Oracle community they mentioned a Patch 22004376:R12.FA.B. and said that there should be a 12.0.6 equivalent but this was not found.
