R12: IBY: AP: Payment Document List Of Values Contains No Entries (Doc ID 2105825.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a new payment using a specific bank account, the Payment Document list of values (LOV) contains no entries. Alternatively, the LOV shows some payment documents but is missing others.

Reproducing the error from Payments Workbench:

  1. Log in with Payables responsibility
  2. Navigate to Payments > Entry > Payments
  3. Create a new payment and populate the fields up to the Bank Account
  4. Select a Bank Account that is known to have payment documents available
  5. Click on the Payment Document field and attempt to search for the available payment documents
  6. Observe the LOV is either empty or is missing some of the payment documents.
If the Payment Document LOV is empty, you will see the following error:
FRM-41830: List of Values contains no entries

 Reproducing the error from Payments Manager:

  1. Log in with Payables responsibility
  2. Navigate to Payments > Entry > Payments Manager
  3. Create a new Payment Process Request and populate the fields to allow access to the Payment Attributes tab
  4. Select a Bank Account that is known to have payment documents available
  5. Click on the Payment Document field and attempt to search for the available payment documents
  6. Observe the LOV is either empty or is missing some of the payment documents.
