Symptoms

Unable to perform return to vendor transaction tied to a serial number as the serial number is not present in the list of values at the time of Return.

ERROR
FRM-40212: Invalid value for field FM_SERIAL_NUMBER

STEPS
1. Inventory > Receiving > Returns > Enter PO > Find
2. Select the Item number, Qty
3. Click on Lot/serial
4. Enter a Serial number to be returned > See Error - FRM-40212: Invalid value for field FM_SERIAL_NUMBER
