How To Stop ER Match On Roth Catch-Up (Doc ID 2106413.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (US) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Our benefits department does not want the ER match on the portion of the 401k Roth EE that is considered catch-up.
In other words once both the 401k and Roth EE has combined met the annual limit (MAX_401K_AMOUNT) and catch-up begins, and there should be no ER match.

The 401k Catch-up does not have ER match, but that is a totally separate element,

The Catchup for 401k Roth is included in the same element as 401k Roth (not catchup).

I am wondering if this is standard functionality and we have set-up the Roth elements incorrectly or if we need to change the Roth ER match formula to accomplish this?
