Repair Order Sub-inventory Not Defaulted In As Set Up In Depot Repair Defaulting Rules

On : 12.1.3 version, Logistics Management


When a logistics line is created manually, the defaulting rules do not (all)
kick in. For example, for a manual ship line, the warehouse and picking rule
defautled, but subinventory does not.

This came up when investigating the issue that for such lines, when no
subinventory is entered, the subinventory is not getting defaulted by OM
defaulting rules (for which we have another SR with OM). ALl that would not
be an issue if the subinventory was defaulted from the defaulting rules even
for manually created lines

Expect defaulting rule to work for manually added logistics lines as well.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a SR and RO where the automatically entered and booked RMA is checked.
2. Sub-inventory defaulted in as set up in depot repair defaulting rules set up
3. Added a replacement line, defaulting rules did not work? Rule is set up to default based on Repair Order Type
4. So not only is the repair order incorrect, the depot repair defaulting rules over write the sales order defaulting rules, so there is NO subinventory on the sale order, this is not acceptable
Note: sales order defaulting rules work as expected when line manually entered directly into Sales order
