Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Batches

When attempting to Crete batch after applying patch 21493563:R12.GMF.C, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"ORA-06503:PL/SQL:Function returned without value in package GME_CREATE_BATCH_PVT procedure CREATE_BATCH"

The debug log file shows the following:

Entering api GME_COMMON_PVT.create_document_no
Exiting api GME_COMMON_PVT.create_document_no
When others exception in GME_CREATE_BATCH_PVT.CREATE_BATCH Error is ORA-06503: PL/SQL: Function returned without value
ORA-06503: PL/SQL: Function returned without value

A trace file shows a Rollback right after the following:

UPDATE WIP_ENTITIES SET WIP_ENTITY_NAME = :B2 ||:B4 WHERE ORGANIZATION_ID = :B3 AND WIP_ENTITY_NAME = :B2 ||:B1
