Remark Text Fixed List Not Working in IE11

Symptoms
When using IE11, when adding a Remark Qualifier and selecting a Remark Text from a fixed list of values, when pressing Save, the following error occurs:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Order Management, Order Release, Order Release press Search
2. Select one Order Release, press Edit
3. Go to Remarks tab
4. In Remarks area, select the Remark Qualifier with the relevant ID
5. Select one value from the fixed list of values
6. Press Save
The message "Remark Text is required." appears.
