Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 11.1.1 and later
Oracle E-Business Suite Technology Stack - Version 12.1.3 to 12.2.5 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 integrated with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g and Directory Integration Platform (DIP).

Provisioning profile in OID is only working in one direction, from EBS to OID, or not working at all.

Inserts, updates, and deletes from OID are not being propagated to EBS or to OID.

Even though logging for the provisioning profile has been turned on in OID for the WebLogic (WLS) Managed Server component, as per Note:

How to Debug an OID DIP eBusiness Suite (EBS) Provisioning Profile?  Document 340501.1

No errors can be found in the resulting debugged logs.

The wls_ods1-diagnostic.log shows no errors for DIP Server and shows seemingly successful provisioning profiles processing, for example:
