Text Entered Using Edit Text Functionality No Longer Displays Correctly on Custom Reports

On : 12.1.3 version, Edit Text Issues
In old 11i code, each line of text was stored on a new row. This was changed. Because of this, when customer upgraded to R12, new text that they add does not display the way they want on their Batch Ticket. Text entered before this change displays as follows:
Step 1. Add SOFT WATER. Start mix.
Step 2. Add the CALAMIDE C. Mix until uniform.
Step 3. Add the LONZEST 143−S. Mix until uniform.
Step 4. Add the AMMONYX CDO SPECIAL. Mix until uniform.
Step 5. Add the GLYDANT PLUS LIQUID. Mix until uniform.
Step 6. Take a sample to lab Q.C. analysis.
Text entered in 12.1 displays as follows:
1. TANK PRECLEAN (PER GENESIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
)− CLEAN ALL TANKS, LINES, PUMPS WITH DETERGENT & WATER.− SANITIZE TAN
KS, LINES AND PUMPS WITH 300−PPM CLORINE AND RINSETHOROUGHLY.− AVOID C
REATING DUST IN AND AROUND MIXING AREAS.2. BRING A SAMPLE OF THE WATER
TO THE LAB TO MAKE SURE ALL THECHLORINE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE WAT
