Adding Calculations in SQL Forces the Result to be Integer Rather than Double (Doc ID 2117442.1)

After upgrading from BI Publisher to, a few of reports that rely on calculating percentages, including decimals are omitting any values that contain a decimal value. Upon further research found BUG 16216900 - ADDING CALCULATIONS IN SQL FORCES THE RESULT TO BE INTEGER RATHER THAN DOUBLE. However, patch set is already above the recommended patch in the bug information.

Tried changing the data type in the data model from Integer to another value, but not able to change this value to anything except Integer.

As a workaround, rounded the decimal number to be a whole number.

Need a solution for the long term.

BIP version

XML Publisher Application Server
Weblogic 10.3.6

This problem is preventing us from providing the level of accuracy needed for percentages in reports.

Can only show whole numbers instead of being able to be more accurate with statistics.
