Additional Columns With #1 Suffix In Release 12.2 in pa_cost_distribution_lines_all Table (Doc ID 2117477.1)

Goal

After upgrading to 12.2.5, there are a few additional columns in some tables with column names same as existing column but suffixed with #1. 

What does this addition for columns with #1 indicate and will it invalidate the usage of 12.1.3 columns?

Table - PA_COST_DISTRIBUTION_LINES_ALL

In 12.1.3 they had columns like 'BURDENED_COST', 'QUANTITY' & 'AMOUNT' in table 'PA_COST_DISTRIBUTION_LINES_ALL' but 12.2.5 additional columns 'BURDENED_COST#1', 'QUANTITY#1' & 'AMOUNT#1' are added.

What does this #1 new column mean and can they still use the 12.1 3 columns (eg: 'QUANTITY') in 12.2.5?
