Symptoms

New installation of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g 11.1.1.9.0 with Directory Integration Platform (DIP) for E-Business Suite (EBS) provisioning integration.

When creating a user in OID, the user is not provisioned to EBS.


The following error appear in the DIP wls_ods1-diagnostic.log:

This specific profile name referenced in the above log, "orclodipprofilename=2f56cedb2c0c7407e050a8c024c83df9_2f56d712ff1793bde050a8c024c83ec5", indeed does not exist OID, so the message/error is correct.

Instead, the following profile name exists and is enabled in OID:


Notice the different value in the second part of the profile name, after the underscore ("_").
