CRM - Contact Purpose LOV inconsistently sorts values on different fields

Contact Purpose LOV associated with the lookup 'CONTACT_ROLE_TYPE' inconsistently sorts data sometimes on lookup_code and sometimes on meaning.

It should sort on meaning instead of lookup code.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Sales User > Sales Dashboard > Quicklinks (Shortcuts) > Party > Update Customer: Perrigo (US, Holland) >
2. Update Contact > Commercial Contact Roles
3. Select LOV to add a Contact Role
