WMS_EXCEPTIONS Table Showing Locator Of Actual Put Away, Not Locator Of Exception (Doc ID 2125967.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Inventory Convergence

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
WMS_EXCEPTIONS table showing locator of actual put away, not locator of exception.

The table WMS_EXCEPTIONS appears to be showing the locator of where the user actually put the item away, rather than the original suggested locator.

By raising exception to change the drop-to subinventory and locator, when querying the task history, the exception would show the redundant actual drop-to subinventory & locator (it's
the same as in task details), and user has no way to get where it's originally suggested by system.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
We need the ability to know which locators the exceptions are happening in so that we can report on them. We also want to remove these locators from any future put away's for the next N number of days so that users are not constantly going to put away items to the same locator over and over again.
