Querying Customers by Account Number in Customer Form Doesn't Return Results

Unable to search few customers by account number.
Expect to show the search result.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in AR responsibility and .
2. Navigate Customers/Standard,
3. Simple Search page opens. Now enter the account number, click on 'Go' button to do the query
4. The system retrieves no values.
